Opposition leader Oomen Chandy said that the UDF victory in the Alapuzha, Ernakulam and Kannur Assembly seats belong to the people. The CPM's move to disrupt the electoral process and subvert the democratic values have been defeated by this UDF victory. The chief minister had said that the byelections would evaluate the LDF regime. The CPM will find it difficult to get justice now, Chandy said
