Contradicting the home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan's statement that I G Tomin Tachankari had gone to Bangalore to coordinate the investigation team; Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said that it's not the Government, which sent IG to Bangalore.
But home minister said that the home ministry was informed about Thachankari's trip.
Chief Minister may have meant that IG went to Bangalore not according to a Government decision, Kodiyeri said.
Home minister also requested not to make a political controversy out of the Police action against terrorist activities. Reffering to UDF convener P P Thankachan's statement on Monday, home Minister said that attributing political bias to investigation officials will weaken the investigation. This will only help these terror outfits to flourish.
