Kareena Kapoor, the sizzling hot sexy babe of bollywood who had the audiences going wild over her size zero bikini sequence in otherwise disastrous ‘Tashan’, has added another feather to her cap by endorsing the lap top, which Britney Spears endorses in Hollywood.
The Japanese electronics company which makes the ultra thin size zero laptops chose only Kareena Kapoor from among the bevy of bollywood beauties due to her hour glass perfect figure. The new laptops, which Kareena Kapoor is endorsing, will be in black or gold color.
The laptop will be so small, sleek and trendy that anyone can carry it with him easily. It was to showcase this aspect of the machine that the electronic giant company had been in search of a suitable size- zero personality like Kareena Kapoor.
The new Kareena Kapoor brand of laptops are being launched in India today at New Delhi and will soon be available in other parts of the country. The new commercial with a stunningly beautiful Kareena Kapoor was shot by Jason West of ‘Rock On’ fame and styled by Anahita Shroff in Mumbai.
However, it was not that easy for the company to get Kareena Kapoor agreeing to give time for the shooting of the commercial in other parts—like Berlin, Paris—of the world, as she had been busy with shooting of Karan Johar’s upcoming flick ‘Stepmom’ and promotion of another one with Saif Ali Khan ‘Kurbaan’.
As a way-out of Kareena Kapoor’s busy schedule, it was decided that the shooting of the commercial should take place in a Mumbai studio. Now, the creative director was told to design a set having the European tube train with Kareena Kapoor carrying and using her laptop.
After the set was ready, Kareena was finding it difficult to shoot during day time and hence the ad makers chose to shoot the commercial in the wee hours of morning. Finally, it was completed successfully and everyone associated with it heaved a sigh of relief.
It may be recalled that Kareena Kapoor had been told by filmmaker Aditya Chopra to become a size zero icon if she wanted to feature in his film ‘Tashan’, as the film required her to don a bikini. Kareena had worked hard on her body and achieved the target within time, but the flick bombed at the box office.
However, Kareena Kapoor benefited from the size- zero- figure and she became a fashion icon overnight. It was that reputation (though she is no longer size zero) that the electronics company equated her with Britney Spears and awarded the contract to model for the lap top in India.
