As previously reported, suitor Ryan Jenkins of Megan Wants a Millionaire is a person of interest in the murder of former swimsuit model, Jasmine Fiore. Though the police have still been unable to locate Fiore, new information has come to light about Jenkins' violent history with women and his relationship with Ms. Fiore.
Jenkins met Fiore in Las Vegas in March after Megan Wants a Millionaire finished filming. The couple married on March 18, 2009 after knowing each other for only a few short days. As many whirlwind Vegas relationships are prone to do, the relationship quickly soured and Fiore had the marriage annulled in May. After the annullment, Fiore headed to Mexico to film VH1's I Love Money 3, but upon his return he worked hard to romance himself back into Fiore's good graces.
It is unclear whether the two resumed their relationship, but in June Jenkins was charged with a misdemeanor count of "battery constituting domestic violence" in Clark County, Nevada. Jenkins was accused of hitting Fiore on her arm. He is scheduled to be tried for the incident in December.
The June incident is not Jenkins' first incident of domestic violence. In January 2007, Jenkins was sentenced to 15 months of probation in Calgary, Canada for an assault on his then girlfriend, Faern Jewell. His sentence also required psychological treatment.
This history of violence is a far cry from the persona that Jenkins portrayed on Megan Wants a Millionaire. Jenkins joined the show as a successful businessman and on the most recent episode of the show, he bragged to fellow contestants that he was writing a book entitled "The Ins & Outs: A Playa's Guide to Success."
Buena Park Police are still looking for Jenkins for questioning and request that anyone with information as to his location contact them with all relevant information. Though Jenkins has not officially been named as a suspect, police have stated that his disappearance is suspicious.
