Tala (Ray) is born to a privileged Palestinian family living in Jordan. She's their resident runaway bride and has a reason for every one of those 'escapes'.
She meets good friend Ali's gal pal Leyla (Sheth), an outspoken Indian Muslim living in Britain. The two connect sooner and far deeper than anyone expected. Until reality and responsibility causes Tala to not follow her heart. Leyla, in the meantime, comes out to her parents.
The more complex issues at hand get sidestepped here. It's only a love story, nothing more. There's absolutely no conflict, save for a few screams and a shrill outburst. It's basic and thereby, breezy.
