The producer for NFL Films in Mount Laurel still goes to games when he can, and saw players like Chris Pressley suit up for the Thundering Herd.
But he didn't see his path crossing with Pressley's until his friend and former Woodbury standout Gary Wade talked to him just after it was announced that HBO's series "Hard Knocks," which focuses on a single NFL team throughout training camp, would be featuring the Cincinnati Bengals.
"When it was announced that it was going to be the Bengals É my good friend Gary É called me and said, ÔAre you gonna have Woodbury in Hard Knocks?'" Rodgers said. "I said, ÔWhat do you mean?' He (told me) and I immediately looked it up and realized it was the kid I'd seen play a couple of times in high school."
